Michael Harbridge ... has been involved in the fired arts industry for over 38 years after getting started as a Cub Scout. Over the years he developed his skills and techniques and opened his first storefront studio at the age of 18. The business grew quickly and took on multiple distributorships supplying hundreds of dealers in and around the state of Wisconsin. A second location was eventually purchased and shortly after that a clay manufacturing company was acquired. After 15 years with the stores managing people and working with suppliers, Michael decided to go back what he loved to do, creating works of art and teaching. He took a position with Jones Publishing and soon found himself as the editor and publisher for Fired Arts & Crafts and The Crafts Report. Michael is currently the Educational Arts Manager for Royal & Langnickel Brush where he works with distributors, develops lesson plans and techniques and teaches workshops around the country. He is the creator of the clay puzzling and you can see his work at www.claypuzzling.com. He and his wife Jeannine live in Iola, Wisconsin with their two daughters, ages 9 and 11.
